Adult Recovery Service introduction

The Adult Recovery Service at DHI ensures that people know about DHI's services, and that all our clients with alcohol or drug problems have comprehensive care plans which set out the goals to be achieved and the help they can expect from DHI staff to realise them.

The service is divide into six main areas:

Alcohol Service - ensuring clients have the support they need to give up alcohol and get back to an independent life.

Engagement - provides the Single Point of Entry service in B&NES as well as ensuring that people know about the services DHI can offer them.

Recovery Team - ensures that clients at DHI are given a comprehensive package of support. 

Family Service - helps families and friends of people with alcohol or drug issues.

Criminal Justice Team - working with offenders in Bath and North East Somerset who are sentenced to receive treatment in the community as part of their punishment as an alternative to prison.

Midsomer Norton - a DHI recovery hub that houses a variety of services that we and other organisations run in order to offer a full service to local people who need support.
