Ring the Changes

Ring the Changes is DHI’s new mobile phone recycling scheme.

We take donations of old/unwanted mobile phones, and arrange for them to be recycled or reused (often in the developing world).

But this isn’t just another charity phone recycling scheme. Ring the Changes is different, because it’s run not by DHI’s regular staff, but by our service users. This simple difference means that the scheme helps our service users to get work experience, learn new skills, gain confidence, and obtain an up-to-date reference. It’s all part of our efforts to help people back into the workplace and to live independently in our local communities.
