The reintegration service assists clients to develop a balanced and meaningful lifestyle, alongside or following their treatment. DHI staff meet with clients to help them set long and short term lifestyle goals. These may include developing their education, training and employment, voluntary work and lifeskills and improving their health and social life.

Some of the programmes include art course in collaboration with City of Bristol College, regular day trips and a woodworking project.

DHI's art groups, where clients are taught by our art tutor, Judith Gait, an artist who grew up in California, who has moved to Britain and has a master's degree in fine art from the University of the West of England. The art groups involve our clients in a therapeutic activity and develop their social lives. One of the art groups exhibited their work at Bath Abbey in 2011. More information.
