Service User Involvement Strategy

On the 3rd of June, the Drugs and Alcohol Team in BANES sponsored the first annual Service User Involvement Strategy Event.
The event was aimed at involving local people with drug and alcohol problems in their treatment and getting people back on the road to recovery.
The Event was held at St Mary the Virgin Church Hall in Bathwick in glorious sunshine and everyone enjoyed the BBQ, fine entertainment and friendly and supportive atmosphere in the church gardens.
Thanks to The Chairman of the Council and the Mayor and Mayoress of Bath for attending and speaking, and to Councillor Pritchard for his support.
Also many thanks go to JHouse Rock, Project 28 Dancers and Rappers, Dominic the Juggler, Father Martin and the DHI Choir for performing, the fabulous BAAD chefs for the fine food and to Sean from Off The Wall, for the Artwork!
A special thanks to all our clients who attended, gave us their views and informed us that they found the event invaluable. Thanks also to BADAS, SDAS, DHI and to their staff for helping to make the event such a success.
To those of you who came, we are glad you enjoyed the day, and to those who missed it, we hope to see you next year!
