Client Contact Co-ordinator

Salary: NJC Pt 9-19 (£20,903 - £25,481), depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Central Bristol and any other location reasonably requested by the organisation.

Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 Months

The Client Contact Coordinator is our first point of contact for all services for people referred or self-referring for drug and alcohol services. We are looking for people who can provide a warm welcoming and motivating initial contact point for all service users and carers, especially those who are new to the service.

You will be responsible for processing large numbers of referrals and undertaking holistic triage assessments over the phone providing urgent advice and signposting to address any urgent needs, experience in working with people with substance use &/or mental health is desirable, you are computer literate, efficient & methodical while being kind and calm to complete our comprehensive risk assessments over the telephone & inviting clients to our hubs to complete their support plans

You will understand safeguarding risk and know when to escalate to a manager. You are task orientated and enjoy getting a job done well!

You will also respond to enquiries from professionals, partner agencies, families, carers and service users.
