The Role

The Role

DHI is an award-winning charity that challenges social exclusion by supporting people to achieve their potential. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for our values of self-direction, stimulation and zest for life and our commitment to our client groups and the local communities we serve.

We are recruiting an Engagement Worker to join DHI’s Adult Drug and Alcohol Service in B&NES. As a member of the Engagement Team you will act as the first point of contact for people wanting to access support and advice around substance use or alcohol issues.

This is a varied and exciting role where every day is different. If you are an energetic, resilient and committed person we will be pleased to hear from you. You will be helping people turn lives around as part of our busy and experienced Engagement team by providing an exceptional service to anyone approaching DHI for support and modelling DHI values. In a day you could be providing Needle Exchange or outreach interventions, helping someone engage in treatment, supporting clients or their families, or providing training or advice to other professionals. If you enjoy feeling you’ve made a difference every day, this could be the role for you.
