IT Support Apprentice

Salary: In line with national apprentice rates

Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per week

Location: Bath and other locations across DHI

Contract Type: Apprentice

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an IT Apprentice where you will have a chance to develop a career in IT. We are looking for someone to act as a primary on-site contact to work with our IT Support partners. As an Apprentice you’ll be handling service requests, carrying out on-site visits and helping out with project work within your skill set.


As an apprentice, DHI will support you with paid training to a recognised industry qualification and you will be supported by and work in conjunction with our IT Partner, Riverbank IT Management.

The type of day to day activities that you will be involved with are:

  • Resolving technical issues and requests, prioratising and managing multiple help desk tickets.
  • Maintaining network, software and hardware configuration, contact information and assets
  • Acting as first point of contact and trouble-shooter across DHI sites, identifying and resolving issues and supporting staff in using the organisation’s systems.

  • Ability to think logically and trouble-shoot
  • Able to see issues through to completion
  • Have a friendly presence and helpful attitude, being professional, polite and patient at all times.
