Senior Specialist Interventions Worker

Salary: NJC Pt 20-22 (£25,295 - £26,317), depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Location: Central Bristol

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 26th July 2022

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, conscientious and enthusiastic full time Senior Practitioner for our Specialist Intervention Team in Bristol. You will have significant line management responsibilities for the Young Persons Transitions worker & specialist Intervention worker. You will support the team to meet service delivery targets, be confident in communicating data, manage complex caseloads and competently manage safeguarding concerns alongside the Manager ensuring the team deliver a safe, caring and effective service.

Experience of line managing people is essential, as is a deep understanding of substance misuse and alcohol and residential rehabs. It is a challenging role requiring leadership skills whilst also undertaking client work. You will be required to work in group settings and on a one to one basis, with clients. It is essential that you have motivational skills in order to inspire team members and encourage service users.

You will be expected to support staff with assessments, risk assessments, support plans and reviews and coordinating the client’s care with other agencies including social services & probation, as required.
