Tenancy Sustainment Officer

Salary: NJC PT 9 -19 (£20,903-£25,481) depending on experience, pro rata for part time roles

Hours: 30 Hours Per Week

Location: Post holder will be based in Kingswood, however travel around Bristol will be required for this post. Place of work will be reviewed in line with Covid-19 restrictions and an element of remote working is expected.

Contract Type: Permanent

John, former homeless 51 year old male, Home Turf Lettings (HTL) Tenant.

Do you want to help other people like John find a home and turn their lives around? Do you have experience of project coordination, or within a busy residential lettings environment? If so, we have the role for you.

Part of Developing Health & Independence, Home Turf Lettings is a social lettings agency working across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset to provide long term affordable homes for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. We have helped hundreds of tenants find quality, affordable accommodation within the private rented sector.

At an exciting time of growth, we are looking for a new Tenancy Sustainment Officer to take the lead with the letting, tenant liaison and rent management for a new portfolio of properties located across Bristol. The role will require you to be a highly organised individual, with an eye for detail and the ability to build positive working relationship with tenants from various backgrounds to support them with applying for and sustaining a successful tenancy, including management of their rental payments.

To be successful in this role you’ll be inspired by and committed to HTL’s mission to reduce homelessness. Experience of working within a lettings negotiator or account management role would be preferable, but is not essential as we will provide all of the necessary training . This is a fast-paced role in which no two days will be the same, offering the successful candidate a rewarding position within our team where they can support tenants to turn their lives around.
