Throughcare Worker - South Glos

Salary: NJC PT 9-19 (£20,903 - £25,481) Depending on experience

Hours: 18.75 hours per week and such additional hours as are required by the business from time to time.

Location: South Gloucestershire and any other location reasonably requested by the organisation. We have client hubs in Yate, Warmley and Patchway. A current valid UK driving licence and use of a car and willingness to use it for the purposes of this role, including the provision of business insurance is an essential requirement.

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 7th January 2022

The Role

As a Throughcare Worker you will have the opportunity to work flexibly between home, DHI offices and hubs. You will join a small and supportive Throughcare team contributing to client welfare and have opportunity to contribute to the running and shaping of the team.

You will work within the Drug and Alcohol service and will work closely with the other teams to provide wrap around support for service users. Your caseload will involve working directly with service users and building and maintaining supportive links with other agencies to ensure the work is person centred. You will provide a range of housing, homelessness, benefit and debt advice and support, to enable the service users to focus on and achieve their treatment goals.

Your main location will be Yate however you will be required at times to be able to travel to Warmley and Patchway where our other hubs are. The role will require a significant amount of travel across the South Gloucestershire region and the use of transport and willingness to use it for the purposes of this role is an essential requirement.
