The Role

DHI is an award winning charity that challenges social exclusion by supporting people to achieve their potential and contribute to the richness and well-being of their community. We are looking for applicants who will share our passion for our values, and our commitment to our client groups and our local communities.

We are recruiting for a new Triage Worker (maternity cover) to join our single point of contact team in South Gloucestershire. We are seeking a candidate who will be able to join us in August 2019 and it is anticipated the role will be for 1 year.

This is great opportunity to join our busy triage team in Warmley, who provide the first point of contact for all people requiring advice and support from our drug and alcohol services. We’re looking for people who can provide a welcoming and motivating environment for all callers. Based in a multi-disciplinary shared office, you will be able to work collaboratively, creatively and flexibly, to empower, challenge and motivate service users. Your day-to-day tasks will involve answering calls, completing comprehensive telephone assessments, and liaising with professionals.

If you enjoy multi-tasking, and are able to work effectively under pressure whilst retaining excellent attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you. You will be joining an experienced and enthusiastic team, who work hard to support each other to deliver an exceptional service to clients.

If you’ve got experience of working with people and share DHI’s values of self-direction, stimulation and zest for life, get in touch!

If you’d like to know more about the role, please contact Lisa Keel, Data & Senior Triage Worker (01454 5868 750) for an informal discussion.
