Somerset Supported Housing

Somerset Supported Housing

About the service

We provide safe and secure abstinence-based supported housing to people in recovery from substance misuse issues. Every resident has a named key worker and receives person-centred support in their recovery and to become independent.

All of our houses provide single occupancy accommodation with communal areas, including a lounge/dining area and garden. All rooms and communal areas are furnished, including cooking and washing facilities.

How we help

We run four supported houses in Somerset, as part of the Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service.

  • Hillside House (Yeovil)
  • Peter's House (Yeovil)
  • Portway House (Wells)
  • Oak House (Frome)

At the point of move in, people should have achieved at least 28 days’ abstinence from drugs and alcohol, and be engaged with support for maintaining their abstinence.
