Pain Management and Wellbeing Project

Our Pain Management and Wellbeing Project helps people to manage chronic pain and improve their wellbeing in South Gloucestershire.

Research has shown conclusively that the nervous system changes over time as chronic pain develops. Initially painkillers can help, but over time the effectiveness of drugs can reduce.

This project focuses on the clients pain story and how it has changed them. It is not necessarily about changing drugs or lowering doses, we help people look at the changes they want to make and then help them to access the community resources available to help them achieve their goals.
