Drivers needed in BANES and S GLOS areas DEADLINE EXTENDED

Location: Two opportunities for Drivers in the Bath and S Glos areas

Drivers needed for both BANES and S GLOS area

Do you have a UK driver's license, have some spare time during the week and would like to support people who have mobility issues, and who have struggled with alcohol or drug misuse?

We need your support to fulfill the following types of tasks:

  • Driving foodbanks parcels, fair share food care parcels to clients
  • Taking prescriptions from doctors surgeries to pharmacies
  • Delivering prescriptions to clients who have been put in emergency accommodation
  • Being present at our "Recovery café" as clients drop-in for food and breakfast
  • Signposting clients to local services.
DHI covers all reasonable expenses. All volunteers at DHI receive a standard induction to the organization and are offered other types of specialised training opportunities periodically.
