Holistic Therapists - S Glos

Location: 3 locations in South Glos- TRN (Main hub), Ridgewood in Yate and Coniston Community Centre in Patchway.

We are looking for holistic therapists to provide weekly sessions to our clieints e.g. yoga, pilates, reflexology or other services designed for the wellbeing of our clients.

Do you have a keen interest in improving the lives of others? Do you have the skills and qualifications to provide holistic therapies? Are you warm, empathetic, caring and compassionate? Do you have a couple of hours a week that you could give to volunteering? If the answer if yes, we would love to hear from you. We are looking to bring holistic therapies to our clients to ensure that all the well known documented benefits are accessible. Holistic therapies can complement recovery, particularly when clients are early in recovery. You could be part of their treatment journey.

Your role would be to provide holistic therapies to a group of marginalised clients. The type of therapy is dependent on your area of expertise for instance it could be reflexology, yoga, pilates, indian head - anything that might enhance the lives of clients, including those that are in early recovery. A majority of our clients do not have access of funds available to receive treatments/activities as described above.

We have three hubs in South Glos- TRN (Main hub), Ridgewood in Yate and Coniston Community Centre in Patchway. Volunteers can work in any one or all of these locations.

We are looking for people who are registered with a professional body, have NVQ2 or equivalent, public liability insurance, with a caring and non-judgmental attitude.

DHI covers the cost of transport to/from locations where services are provided.
